Flash Back Friday - 1985

I am Four in this picture. It is one of my favorite pictures. My Mom tells me that everytime she would try to have pictures taken I was always doing something with my hands.

Sage does it too.

Ladies Man

Sage is such a Ladies Man! Robert and I aren't sure where it comes from. All the girls in his class flock to him and fight over him.

From left to right: Analia(burgundy shirt), Sage, Angelina(brown shirt), Destiny(hot pink shirt), Emma(lavender shirt), Viviane(blonde in the denim jacket). Viviane has since given up and has moved on to other boys.

Angelina trying to hold Sage's hand.

Analia trying to kiss Sage.

Sage and Analia with their hand on each others knees.

Sage taking turns pushing Emma and Analia on the swings.
He loves all the attention! Today at lunch the girls were arguing about who Sage loves more, I think Analia won that argument.

Young Love Part 2

Sage and Analia are at it again! They've been inseprable since that first day they started holding hands. They do everything together! Analia's Mom and I have decided that we are going to be in SO much trouble when they get older. The little girl in the blue shirt, is VERY jealous of Analia. Every morning she asks Sage if he's broken up with Analia yet, because she wants her shot at him. It's TOO funny!

Flash Back Friday - First Grade

Today I am taking you back to 1987. I was in First Grade. During that Summer my Beloved Bunny Rabbit "Thumper" died, I remember crying for days, until my Mom sat me down and told me that Bunny Rabbits went to Heaven too and that one day I would see him again. My favorite Movie of all time was released this year Dirty Dancing ."Nobody puts Baby in a corner."

Child-like Wonder

I was looking at the disk of pictures from the photo shoot that my friend Angie did for us, and found these pictures. I hadn't noticed them earlier. Sage was so enamored with the beach and wanted to see EVERYTHING! Aurora was just happy to be held and didn't want anything to do with the sand or water.

Sage and I looking at the crabs that were hiding in the shallow water.

Sage drawing in the sand with his feet.

Sage running all over.

Flash Back Friday - Kindergarten Picture

Once again it's Flash Back Friday. Today I am taking you back to 1986. I was in Kindergarten and my teachers name was Mrs. Katella. She was so awesome, everyone should have a teacher like her in Kindergarten! I can honestly say that year was the best year ever. I got a rabbit for my birthday that year, I named him Thumper. My brother Danny used to pick me up from school and take to Mc Donald's for lunch on his Pay Day's. That's also the year Danny left on his mission to the Philippines. That was also the year that my other Brother Joey got an awesome game for his Commador Computer that he would let me play, I don't remember the name of it, but I do remember thinking that I was SO special!

Cootie

For Christmas Lydia got Sage the "Cootie" game. I used to have this game as a kid and loved it, I was so excited to play with him, but he didn't want me to play with him, he wanted Lydia to play with him. Sage was so proud of himself, here they are with their "Cooties".

Ah.... Young Love

Since the first week of Preschool, Sage has been telling me about his Friend Analia and how she's "Sooooo Pretty!". Well.... today he made his move. They were walking back from lunch and he decided he'd try to hold her hand.

Once they were back in the classroom, they sat next to each other did their activities and played with their other friends. Then later, when they went outside for Recess, they played together and were inseparable.

Sage picked her a Dandelion. If you look close you can see it in his right hand. These two pictures are my favorite. I love how she's twirling her hair, and is all giggles!

They are the best of friends and love to play together. I guess we'll have to schedule some play dates. Hopefully they'll be in the same Kindergarten Class.

Proud Mommy Moment

I've got a Proud Mommy Moment that is going to make you all cry today. Yesterday while sitting in church; Sage was drawing pictures of our family. After he had drawn pictures of Robert, Me, Himself, Aurora, Grandma & Grandpa, he looked up at me and said...."Mommy, I'm gonna draw Hayden." I got choked up and started to cry. He then drew this, and the tears came and were uncontrollable.

If you've seen THIS post, then you'll definitely recognize the resemblance minus the engraving of Christ and the Baby. It was so sweet to know that he remembers Hayden and all we've told about his big brother. It makes me feel like I'm at least doing one thing right.

Date Night

Last night Robert and I went out to this little Italian Restaurant in Point Loma called the Venetian Restaurant. At first I was a little hesitant, but oh my goodness! It is fabulous authentic Italian Cuisine with portions so large that I have a whole lunch for today. It is simply amazing and I can't wait to go back! Check out their website HERE.
