Miserable with a capital M...

My poor baby girl has HMFD more commonly known as Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease. It's a very common virus and is spread through coughing and touch. Symptoms are High Fever from 100 to 104 degrees and rash. The rash turns into blisters and then spreads to the mouth. There's not anything we can do except keep her comfy by alternating Tylenol and Motrin and keep her hopped up on Benadryl to help with the itching and to keep her relaxed.
This is what her hands and body will look like soon. I feel like a horrible Mom.

Menu's...

I just got next month's meals planned. I like to make them for a month at a time so I'm less likely to repeat a dinner. Friday night's are my night off from cooking so it's always a fend for yourself night and weekends are always BBQ nights, it could be chicken, hot dogs (yuck!), hamburgers or steak, whatever we're in the mood for.

Fancy Nancy...

My new favorite children's books are the Fancy Nancy Series by Jane O'Conner & Robin Preiss Glasser. I saw this book online and scoured the stores for it and couldn't find it, so I ordered it Online from Target and it came this morning. I just love the books and hope that Aurora will love them as much as I do.

Punch Fun...

Okay, so I saw this Punch Fairy on StampersXpress and thought I would reproduce it and try a couple other designs. I'm working on my Mom's Hawaii Scrapbook and thought a Hula dancer would be fun and a Ballet Dancer might be fun too. Each one is made with SU! Punches. I love them, they are so versatile. Sorry for the blurry images, my camera is acting funky. You will be seeing these images soon on cards and other creations.

Weekend Challenge...

I don't usually stamp unless it's for an upcoming swap or project so I've decided to take some time stamp just for me. I found Beate's Blog and decided to take part her weekend challenges. This is what I came up with. I love her challenges, they force me to be creative and use my own ideas. I really need that right now.

Private...

Okay... After talking with Robert about it, we just won't put info on the kids ie: school, where we live exactly etc... We think that this is much better than going totally private with the blog so our friends and family that we've lost track of can still find us.

Spoons...

I was busy stamping some cards today, and all of a sudden I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I got up and went in there and this is what I saw. Aurora is always carrying around baby spoons I'm always afraid that she's going to fall and shove them down her throat. I thought that I had hid them well enough. I guess not.

Handmade Home Decor...

The Project for May's Stamp Camp is this super cute home decor project that was shown to us at the Stampin' Up! Anaheim Regional. I love the diversity of it. You can also use the words: fall, noel, spring, summer, or anything else you can imagine. This particular one is reversible. Check out my Calendar of Events on my Demo Website for more details.
