October's Greatest Hits

Whew, October was one crazy month! Instead of doing different posts I'm going to post it all here.

Miya playing dress up in Aurora's jacket

We took the kids their first football game at the Mount Miguel
Homecoming game. They beat Monte Vista 35-12

We spent a day in Los Angeles playing with cousins we've haven't seen in a long time.

We caught Simba cuddling with Houdini and Miya

We celebrated my 32nd Birthday

We had fun trick or treating at the ward dinner and in Point Loma

We also carved some pretty awesome pumpkins.

Hopefully, I'll be better at posting in November.

Happy Halloween

This year was the best Halloween ever! Sage and Aurora are seriously the best kids I could have asked for. We took them to a neighborhood over by Robert's work this year and they had a blast! The best part of the night was Aurora opening one the front doors mail slot and asking if anyone was home because she really wanted some candy. Sage was funny too, a few houses after Aurora's comedic moment Sage knocked on the door louder than he should have and said "Come on.... I need some candy!" I was so embarrassed but the home owners thought it was funny.

Their costumes this year were perfect and totally fit their personalities.

Fall Festival

Yesterday was the Fall Festival at Sage's School. I remember attending his School's Carnival every Halloween as a kid and it's sad that it's just not the same as it was then. I guess it has to do with a lack of parent participation in his school, so sad. Robert and Lydia took the kids around to all the booths while I helped out in one for an hour. It was fun and I'm glad that the kids enjoyed it.

Hopefully next year Aurora won't fall and skin her forehead and knees while playing hopscotch with Gabby.

Haunted House

In our house whenever Sage gets 100% on a test we take him out for Ice Cream, but this weekend instead of ice cream he wanted to get this Haunted House Gingerbread Kit he saw at Sam's Club.

We went home and cracked it open. I put the house together but then he decorated it or told me what he wanted me to do. He was so proud of his Halloween House!

Spiderman & Fairy

Wow... this post is way over due! Sage of course had to be Spiderman for Halloween. Aurora still doesn't really care so I got to pick her costume{I don't think I'll get to do that ever again}. My Mom made her a fairy dress. They both LOVED their costumes and continue to wear them around the house.
