Special Delivery...

I made this today for a friend. I got the idea from my friend Jenn.
She is a fountain of wonderful ideas. I got the plain white mailbox from Target.
I added some SU! paper, stamps and their rub-on's and some ribbon I had laying around.
I filled it with goodies and a handmade card. I hope she likes it.

Aurora's 1st Birthday...

I've really fallen behind on the posting. Aurora turned One on the 23rd.
We had a little party to celebrate her special day.
The Table Setting
The Prince and Princess
Sucking her Strawberry Cake and Frosting covered thumb.
Shoveling the cake into her mouth
Opening presents, this one is her favorite.
a talking purse from Jessica & Savannah.
I can't believe how fast this last year has gone. My Little Princess is growing up and is becoming SO independent. She wants nothing to do with being a baby. Except the bottle, she's not quite ready to give that up. Now, just to get her to like it when I do her hair.

My Little Girly Man...

I was in the kitchen this morning doing dishes and I
walked into my room and this is what I found.

He put on every headband I own. I just had to snap a
quick picture. When his dad see's this, I won't be very
popular for showing off our son's girly side. Aurora has
a Princess purse that she got for Christmas and Sage
loves to wear my heels and carry it around and pretend
he's shopping. It's SO funny! I've captured it on film many
times, but it always seems to get mysteriously erased.

Cards & Valentines...

I've made a lot of things in the last week and just had to show them off.
This is the front of Aurora's Birthday Invitation
I can't believe that my Little Princess is going to be One next weekend.
Where has the year gone? She's growing up so fast!

This is the inside
Lydia's Valentines
They were really simple. I bought cups and punched holes in the sides and added
eyelets and then threaded ribbon through them for the handle. The little tag says: Be My Valentine. I have since added a heart image to the outside of the cup.

This is my swap for my first SU! Demo meeting tomorrow night.

Have I mentioned that I love Stampin' Up!???

Little Princess...

This picture perfectly describes my Little Princess. She is always this happy. That is unless she is REALLY sick. This was taken last week when she had Pink Eye, she was all smiles even with goop in her eyes. I am so blessed to have such a happy baby!

SU! Regionals...

This weekend was a blast! For about a year now i've been toying with the idea of becoming a SU! Demonstrator. Attending Regionals convinced me to do it. I'm signing up this week! I spend a ton of money on it anyway so I might as well enjoy the extra benefits. I can't wait until the Convention in Salt Lake this summer! Hooray for Stampin' Up!

I'm SO Excited!!!

Stampin' Up! is having their Anaheim Regional Event this Saturday, and I'm going! I am so very excited to learn all I can about stamping techniques and other ideas. We also have the opportunity to participate in a card swap. Each person makes 50 or more of a card and swaps with the others, so you come away with at least 50 different card ideas. Did I mention that I'm REALLY excited??? I didn't have a lot of paper so I had to use what I had left from a Primary project that I did last Summer(lots of bright colors). It's not my favorite choice of paper but I do think it turned out well.

Sad News...

Tonight our beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away at 7pm Mountain Standard time. He was surrounded by his family and friends when he passed. He joins his wife Marjorie in Heaven, think of that sweet reunion.
He was such an amazing man! He accomplished so much in his life. He built over 100 Temples, and has done so much for the Church. He was one of my favorite people. He touched so many souls and served our Heavenly Father well. He will truly be missed!

Cinderellie..Cinderellie...

Today was definitely a Cinderellie kind of day. All day long I cleaned, cooked, played referee, tickle monster and slave. It all started as a quiet day. I awoke at 8am to a very quiet house, and to my surprise Sage & Aurora were still asleep; little did I know that it was the calm before the storm. I decided to start the laundry and just finished sorting it when both kids woke up screaming. Sage's allergies decided that today would be a good day rear they're ugly head. His eyes were crusted shut and he was freaking out because he couldn't open them. Aurora has been fighting a cold and fever all week and this morning it decided to top out at 104.4, so into a cold bath she went trying to bring down her body temperature. Luckily it worked. Right now she's at Urgent Care with Daddy making sure that she doesn't have a ear infection. After that, I was able to get the kids settled in front of the television while I cleaned the kitchen. I had to stop before I was done to stop Sage from body slamming Aurora into the floor. She finally fell asleep again, so I finished my laundry and house cleaning and sat down with Sage for a little one on one time. It was peaceful until Aurora woke up screaming again, so I took care of her needs and then started lunch for the kids. Sage kept changing his mind about what he wanted for lunch. He finally decided that he wanted a sandwich. Then we watched a couple episodes of Duck Tales and Aurora fell asleep and while I was putting her in her bed, Sage had completely demolished the Family Room. I came out asked him what he did. He answered me by saying..."I didn't do it, Rora did." After we cleaned that up Aurora woke up again and I spent the rest of the day holding her and chasing after my very enthusiastic Son. It was just one of those days where I wish that kids did exactly what they're told to do when they're told to do it, only in a perfect world. Oh, well.... I love my kids more than anything, I just neede to vent a little.

Cuddle Time...

This morning Sage and Aurora cuddled up on the couch to watch Veggie Tales. It was so sweet! They sat that way until lunch. I was able to get so much done for Primary on Sunday. It's so great that they love each other this much. It is starting to become a morning ritual, I think that Robert & I will join them tomorrow morning.

Some of you may have wondered why Sage is in just his underwear so much. I can't get him to keep his clothes on. He's going through a nudist phase. Hopefully he outgrows it soon.

Sage's Favorite Place...

Sage's favorite place to be is in his Grandma's arms. Sage hasn't taken a real nap in months, but today while my Mom was sleeping off the effects of Chemotherapy Sage curled up in her arms, gave her a hug and kiss told her he loved her and to get better quick. It was SO sweet, it made me cry. Of course the camera wasn't anywhere to be found. He then layed down with her and took a 3 hour nap. I finally found the camera and captured that sweet moment. Needless to say he won't be going to bed on time tonight.

On another note, my Mom had another PET-SCAN on Friday, we won't have those results until next week. I'll update everyone as soon as I get that information from the Oncologist. Please keep her in your prayer's. The world will not be the same without her.
